2018: A better season than ever before is on God’s prophetic calendar for you!

Zechariah 4:6

So he answered and said to me:

“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:
‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’
Says the Lord of hosts.”

This is the Word of the Lord to us for 2018: This is the start of a new season in our lives when “It is not by might nor by power, but by my spirit says the Lord of hosts.”

In Bible numerology, the number 8 is the number of new beginnings and the number 10 is about restoration of order. The woman was bound for 18 years, but order was restored as she was loosed from her infirmities. 18 was also the number of judges that Israel had before there was a king.

This year you are going to have to confront things that need to be shifted as order will be restored in your life. You may need to start again or rebuild some things. First base will be that it won’t happen by might or power, but by the hand of the Lord of hosts: Jehovah Sabaoth. God is a man of war; He is the commander in chief of the armies of heaven and He fights your battles for you. The restoration of order won’t come by your own ability, but by the Spirit of God moving in your life.

2017 was the year of perfectly commanded blessings, yet some of the things that happened did not seem to be in this category! When I went back to God about this, He reminded me that 2017 was the year when God would be orchestrating our affairs by re-aligning us to the perfect will of God for our lives.

In other words, if things in 2017 seemed half baked, it is because it was all about the process of God bringing us into position. Just as the baking of a cake, the process can seem messy and chaotic, our lives have been through the same experience!

In 2017 God has taken some things out of your hands. Things you would have kept or followed through with if He hadn’t brought it to a swift conclusion. You would have kept that man, or stayed in that job if he hadn’t left or they hadn’t closed the door on you. For that reason, it even looked like things have been getting worse before they can get better because of the re-aligning process, but the fact is that God has appointed a better season for you.

If it seems like some crucial things died in 2017, it was because God was setting you up for a rebirth, so that you can go to your intended purpose. He took you to the place where your strength failed, and He showed you the limits of your power, so that you would be ready to lean on the Lord in 2018.

This year, lifelong addictions will lose their grip. Get ready for stuff that has afflicted you or your family to come to an end because we are on God’s prophetic calendar. It’s a time when God restores order. Nothing that happened in 2017 will be the last word in your life. Start expecting your come back, because the Lord of Heaven’s armies is on the move!

Heavenly Father, you are Jehovah Sabaoth in my life. I yield to you every feeling of disappointment and confusion about what has been happening in my life all through 2017, and I willingly make space for your mighty hand to work in my circumstances.

I receive your Word that you have been re-aligning my life and by faith I receive restoration of order, re-birth and a better season than ever before. Thank you that wonderful, amazing things lie ahead for me on your prophetic calendar, in Jesus’ name!
