Welcome to Grace Exploits!

Genesis 17:1

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.

There will be seasons in every believer’s life when our greatest testimony will be that we are still walking with God.

Abraham didn’t know what was happening having been through over twenty years of waiting for the promise to be fulfilled, and then God showed up and simply said to him, “Keep walking!”

When you don’t know how things are going to turn out, and you feel you have invested more in this thing even than God Himself, you can’t afford to stop walking. You can’t stay still, because if your keep walking long enough, you will walk through the valley and out the other side.

Most of the time if you are not happy with your relationship with God, the chances are that you will be tempted to take it out on His people, or on the pastor.

When the people of God were upset with God’s leading, they moaned against Moses and the provision they were receiving. Sometimes you may be legitimately unhappy with God’s people, but if you are happy with God, He will give you perspective and you won’t do anything stupid. But if you are unhappy with God because you believe you have waited for long enough and God hasn’t come through for you, don’t beat up on your church!

Instead, keep walking! God is faithful, and He won’t let you be put to shame. Don’t let yourself get confused that you have out-served or out-given God, because that is to forget who He is in your life. Something powerful will happen in you and for you, when you realize that you have a place to live and a family around you by the grace of God. You have a job or a business because of the grace of God. You are still alive, and your mind is sound by the grace of God. You will spend an eternity with Him because of the grace of God.

We cannot provide anything for Him, but we can give back to Him what He has already given to us. This year I welcome you to Grace Exploits: exploits that you don’t deserve, but which God will grace you for.

They will be shocked at your job because they didn’t think you were their best employee, but you will come up with ideas when they didn’t think you had it in you! Just when you thought you were going down, they will be asking you how come you thought of this? And you will be able to say, “I am graced for it!”

When we realize who God is in our lives, there isn’t a single part of us that we will be afraid to give to God, because He is willing to go first. Keep walking today! He will never let you down!

Pray

Heavenly Father, you are the source of every good thing in my life. It is by your grace that I woke up this morning. It is by your grace that I am provided for and that I enjoy health, opportunity and satisfaction of all kinds. You are the Lord and you have reached out to me to bless me in so many ways.

Today I declare that I will trust you another day. I will keep walking with you and I give you thanks and praise for all that you have done for me. If you never did another thing for me, you have already done enough. I am so grateful that you have revealed yourself to me. I am nothing but blessed. Thank you, Lord!
