And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
God has spoken some wonderful things concerning the year ahead. This year he will perfect, establish, strengthen and settle you; He will bring you into a new experience of His grace, such that situations that have been locked up for a long time, will shift and change. He will give you the ability to experience grace in your relationships, your finances, your ministry, your character and in all that concerns you. You will operate in a flow of grace that brings life to things that have died, because HE is the resurrection and the life.
Now that the Word has been released, it is time to release your faith for these things, and for anything that the Holy Spirit has quickened to you as your covenant right as a believer, to come to pass in YOUR circumstances and experience.
It is time for you to come to the place where you no longer question either His ability or His willingness, but you rest in faith and in trust. That is the part assigned to the believer, and God will not violate your right to choose what you believe.
The awesome thing about being human is that we have the capacity to believe what we don’t see. In fact, we do it all the time. We don’t see the inner parts of our car engine, but we get in and start the car, fully confident that those parts are there, and the car will run. We don’t see the changing seasons in the distance, but we know that when certain months come around, Summer will be here and we start preparing for it. We live according to what we believe even when there is no hard and fast evidence for it every day.
Are you utilizing your ability to believe what isn’t yet in your daily reality to prepare for what God said he would do this year in your life?
Take a moment right now to identify and write down three things that you need grace for this year; three things that you need from Him, or else they won’t get done!
As you do so, let God know that you believe in His ability and willingness to do it in your life. His grace is poured out for you. Place your faith in His Word and your trust in His faithfulness and love. He is more than enough for you in 2018
Heavenly Father, as I consider your Word for me this year I am excited to receive such wonderful revelation and such glorious promises. Right now I come to you with three things that I believe you will do for me this year, according to those promises. By faith I receive the grace to see these things begin to come to pass even this week, and I trust you that you are working behind the scenes to bring me my full manifestation, because you are faithful and trustworthy and true to your Word.
Thank you, Lord, because you are both able and willing to do me good all the days of my life! I love you, Lord!
