Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”
What was it that Peter had that he gave to the man at the Beautiful Gate in Acts 3? Because whatever he had, you and I should have it!
The truth is that he didn’t have a different Holy Ghost, and he was no more anointed than we are, but his advantage lay in the fact that he had grasped how this arena works and how to tap into the power that he had.
When hydrogen and oxygen combine they produce water. If you don’t understand the chemical reaction, you would have no idea where the water came from. We are often like that when it comes to understanding the operation of the power of God. We must grasp, as Peter did, that when faith and the Word are mixed something new appears that was not there before. The dynamic combination created it.
The worst thing a Christian can do is to go to church where they don’t trust the man of God who is speaking the Word to them, because when the Word of God goes forth, you are more powerful than you realize. When the Word comes concerning your healing, you can create some healing. When the Word comes telling you that you are out of debt, you can create some out-of-debt. You might never have had a house, but when the Word is released that you can have houses, you are able to create them! When are you going to start refusing to accept the status quo and go to church ready to create some change?
Catch hold of the Word in expectation of it coming to pass and never let go of it! That Word is your ability to do what you could not do before, so act on it. Faith is action. Get ready for a chemical reaction to take place in the spirit realm. Something new that you have never seen before is about to appear in your life!
Heavenly Father, thank you that your Word is full of power to bring itself to pass. I make a decision today to believe your Word, to grasp hold of it and to act on it. I believe in my man of God. My prosperity is in his mouth and I am determined to create my own answers, just as you said I could.
Thank you, Lord!
