1 John 4:16
And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
It’s not enough to have a bumper sticker saying “God loves me”. We have to grasp and believe the love God has for us. He doesn’t HAVE love, His whole way of being IS love, and we have no say in whether or not He loves us. He simply does!
Believing His love is the most powerful thing we can do as Christians. He loves us too much to ever leave us stranded. He IS our open door that no man can shut. There are no dead ends in life, because God LOVES us, and He gave Himself up for us.
As you get a greater and greater revelation of Him, you can rise higher and higher, because you will recognize and acknowledge that you are loved by the Lord of all! How high are you willing to go?
If you want to go all the way, you will have to focus less on the problems and challenges and more on Jesus. If you want to find out how to float, you must stop thinking about sinking.
The love of God will cause your soul to be anchored and your spirit to soar. Will you come up from the slave mindset, the bad debt mindset, the loneliness mindset, the victim mindset and the sickness mindset, and focus on the One who is your redemption? Will you stop worrying about what is happening to you and place your confidence in His profound love for you? He will never mismanage your life.
The greatest revelation we can ever get is the revelation of His love. Every time you go to the scripture, look for Jesus; don’t look for yourself. Don’t try and find a new passage to read all the time – you will end up with the dry letter of the Word. Revelation comes when the Word is taught under the anointing, so go back to the CD’s of the preached Word and study out those references.
Every challenge will be overcome as you receive a deeper revelation of His inexhaustible love. When you come into His presence praise Him like He is King. He holds your life in the palm of His hand and you are eternally secure in Him.
Father would you unleash a tidal wave of your love in my life today. I thank you that your perfect love casts out all fear and I believe that I receive a new boldness and confidence that comes from knowing that I am powerfully and unconditionally loved. No more worry. No more anxiety and stress. I rest in your amazing love and thank you for it in Jesus’ name.
