The seasons of life

Event 21

Does life seem a constant fight for you?

A major source of peace and stability comes when we understand that all of life is lived in seasons. It is inevitable that there will be seasons of growth, seasons of excitement, seasons of preparation and of recuperation, seasons of war and of enjoying the spoils of war; and seasons of down time.

The book of Genesis tells us that as long as the Earth remains, the rotation of seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, Summer and Winter, and day and night will not cease.

We do not get to change that pattern or to choose if it should be so or not! If we debate whether or not Winter should take place, you won’t get anywhere. And in fact there is nothing wrong with Winter, as long as we are prepared for it and dress appropriately!

There is nothing wrong with some down time as long as you handle it rightly! Every day can’t be Christmas! Learn to do normal days well, or you will end up going to extremes to keep the excitement going.

Make a decision to recognize and to work with the season you are in right now; and if it is terrible season, take comfort in this – it is designed to change! No season will last forever!

It takes wisdom to know how to make the most of your current season. Don’t die in Winter, because Spring is coming! Don’t squander everything in a season of harvest – prepare because a season where things don’t necessarily flow as well as right now, is on its way.

By the power of the Holy Ghost, I want to announce to you right now that your season is changing.

If you can embrace that, your whole life will start to go on an entirely different trajectory! God is about to release amazing opportunities for you; promotion is coming and doors that were unimaginable not long ago, will open for you.

If you are in the middle of stronger attacks, and things seem to be worse than ever right now, it is a sign that you are so close to your breakthrough. Most people quit right before their breakthrough actually shows up, but I am praying for you that you will have strength to go all the way.

When you feel like giving up, don’t! Remember that there is no question as to whether or not you are destined to win. In fact you will finish with joy and distinction.

Even if you got turned down today, there is a new grace being released to you right now. You focus on what you spend time thinking about, so choose to spend time imagining that it is already exactly as the Word says, and starve your doubts by neglecting to think about them, until they die of anorexia!

In all things remember – in life and in death – we win!
