Whatever happened, He’s your recompense

Meal out

You don’t ever have to be jealous of someone else’s blessing because God has an inheritance for you with your name on it!

Never permit yourself to start seeing all of life through the lens of a perceived injustice that has been done to you. Even if you are right about the injustice, you will still end up driving your life away from the will of God because of the poison that comes from bitterness, resentment, anger and frustration.

Don’t permit a root of bitterness to spring up in you because it will defile you. It will lead you to make decisions that may seem balanced from your perspective, but will nonetheless yield unprofitable consequences sooner rather than later.

If you want to continue living or begin to live again, you can’t afford to carry offence. It’s too expensive in every imaginable way. Remember God sent Jesus to heal broken hearts.

If you would FORGIVE, your HEALING would start immediately. If for no other reason, do it so that your past may not hold your future hostage.

Show kindness today to those who are mean and rather mistreating you because when you sow that ‘seed’, there’s a manifold harvest of whatever you desire waiting for you on the other side of your obedience.

May the Lord grant you the grace to FORGIVE those things that hurt you and maybe even broke your heart. May this be the day when the reality of your decision to forgive and move on begins to yield tangible results that free you from the pain of whatever went wrong and the regret of what could and should have been.

True forgiveness happens when you BELIEVE that whatever injustice has happened in your life, God is able to make it up to you; when you lose the longing that things could have happened another way and you trust God to make up the difference. Remember, He is the God of recompense.  Don’t focus on the LOSS but the God of SHALOM. No good thing will He withhold from you.

  1. Amen! am contending for my inheritance not somebody’s. It’s mine and settled forever in heaven, it makes rich and adds no sorry. If am jealous of others blessings then for sure I don’t know whose I belong to. Abba father has already blessed me with abundant blessings so that I could be a blessing to humanity not the devil.
