“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
The World has a counterfeit for everything that God has initiated. But only God can give you the real thing.
Worldly peace is the cessation of noise and strife; the attainment of tranquility or harmony. But this is a shallow alternative to the meaning of the Biblical word for peace: Shalom, which means wholeness, soundness, wellbeing, favor, reward, preservation, healing and protection; in short “nothing missing and nothing broken”
God has instituted a plan for our wholeness. He wants us to have nothing missing and nothing broken.
The peace that God gives us will be so strong that we can overcome worry and feeling troubled. We will be insulated from the plan of the devil and we have a responsibility not to let our hearts be troubled but to set our hope in God.
We should not accept things the way they are: We need to set our expectation by the word, not by the world’s standards. If we accept those standards, we will live a far inferior life to the one that God intends for us to have.
If we set our minds on what the Word says we can have and enjoy, healing and provision will come and restoration of places of long devastation in our lives will happen because it is the will of God for us to have nothing missing and nothing broken.
How many are parked and settled for what the world told us we could have with in the light of our past and because “who do we think we are, anyway!???” We unconsciously park our lives and settle for a life that is, at best, a counterfeit version of the God kind of abundant life.
Where have you parked? At renting? Living from pay check to pay check? Chronic health conditions such as diabetes or back pain?
If you don’t know that the will of God for you is wholeness, you can be in the midst of the power of God but still experience nothing. You need a strong conviction that won’t let up saying, “I am supposed to be whole. I am supposed to have nothing missing and nothing broken.”
Pursue God until you see the manifestation. Don’t leave go of the will of God for your life. Don’t settle on the basis that it won’t happen for the kind of person you are. Refuse to allow your heart to be troubled. God is working on your case.
Believing God for you that restoration is your portion TODAY, and that you are not settling for anything less!
