In the fifteen year history of our ministry I have never seen such hunger, love, unity and passion for Jesus in the house of El-Shaddai as I do now. Why? Because we are delivered from the performance trap. No more struggling to get out of inferiority or competitive jealousy in our midst. We have discarded a religion of fear that forces us to have an inferiority complex, trying to get God to do something that He has already decided is ours.
Something huge happened when we got born again. Colossians 1:12-13 says:
…”giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love…”
We do not have to work to impress God, we are already qualified. We do not have to find a deliverance service to get delivered; we have already been brought completely out of the dominion of Satan. We are no longer under his jurisdiction. He cannot do what he likes in our lives.
God and Satan are not still fighting it out to see if we should be able to be healed, provided for or made whole; the contest is decided. We have been lifted out of the place of oppression. We are living under the rulership of a new King, with totally different values and codes of operation, that demand that we can have totally different expectations of what will come about in our lives.
In John 16:33 Jesus tells us that in this world we will be subject to trouble, but that in Him we can enjoy peace – Shalom – nothing missing and nothing broken.
We are in the world’s system and yet we are not supposed to participate in what is going on around us.
The world’s system is designed to bring us up against dead ends, heartache, debt and disappointment. Trouble is the order of the day. But that is not our inheritance. We have to count ourselves as disconnected from this system and all its ways, and choose to operate the system of the Kingdom of God into which we have now been translated.
It is time to starting living by Kingdom principles. Mark 4:26-27 tells us, ““The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how.”
The Kingdom of God works by sowing and reaping. In fact, a man’s life is determined solely by the seed that he sows.
Sow the good seed of the Word today by meditating on and confessing the awesome promises of the Word of God. Don’t let your mind focus on trouble, even if you feel surrounded by it. Declare the blessing over your life and refuse to settle for anything less than days of Heaven on Earth. That is our portion!
Praying for you!
