…Giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified and made us fit to share the portion which is the inheritance of the saints (God’s holy people) in the Light. (Amp)
Most people spend their lives trying and working to qualify. Educationally, financially, for the love of another, to get into a sector of society; most human beings don’t feel like they are enough. They don’t feel like they are everything that it is going to take to be significant in life or to be important to the fulfilment of a divine purpose.
But you are no longer in the category of the disqualified. You are qualified. because of this it need never be a question in your mind as to whether or not you have a right to experience restoration, to come out of debt, to be well, to prosper, or to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
It has to be your absolute persuasion that If anyone is going to prosper that is going to be me; if anybody is going to the top, that is going to be me; if anybody is going to live a significant and purposeful life that is going to be me. If the anointing is going to rest on anybody is going to be me; if God is going to do anything awesome in this generation, I am going to be part of it.
We are qualified to be partakers. Not to watch but to participate. There is an inheritance with my name on it. You come to God in a crowd, but He always treats you as an individual.
So many people labor under a religion of fear that forces them to have an inferiority complex. Religion reminds us of what we haven’t done that we should have done. We live with a perpetually unfinished “to do” list and the lingering sense of impending punishment.
The New Testament church should not be filled with miserable people trying to qualify for God’s approval while pretending that all is well.
The Word of God makes it clear that God has taken it upon Himself to remove the weight of the need to qualify by our own efforts. He laid the punishment on Jesus Christ and He is not angry with you and me. On the contrary, we are exactly what He is looking for!
The day that you and I realize that the greatest gift, Jesus, is not just a gift to the world, but to you and me as individuals is the day when our whole lives change. We can come to church to celebrate what God has already done and to experience the reality of it in our lives.
Praying for you today that you resign from religion and sign up for the blessing on your life! You are qualified for it!
