Life is designed to drain us of confidence…..

Luke 11:2

Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven….

You and I are not supposed to be waiting until we die to experience Heaven.

Instead we are authorized as believers to enjoy days of Heaven on the Earth right now. We are commanded to pray and ask expectantly for Heaven-sized, Heaven class healing, favor, wisdom, provision and breakthroughs of every kind.

Yet for most of us we find it hard not to dwell on the negative aspects of our lives; disappointments, failures and challenges. Life is designed to drain us of confidence, but if we want to accomplish God’s will for our lives we have to be resilient. We have to set our minds like we set an alarm clock, and then keep them set.

Success comes from nothing more than a few simple disciplines practiced every day. Every day I do the same things: I pray, I read the Word and I give myself an attitude adjustment, choosing to be grateful for the things I have rather than to focus on the challenges and the things I don’t have. These simple things are keys to overcoming.

Everything around us has a voice and it is speaking to us. Our finances, our health, the events of our daily lives. The way we respond to them is crucial. Will we settle for the message that we cannot have or enjoy better than the challenges we currently face, or will we refuse to let go of the will of God for Heaven to invade our lives here and now.

In our domain and sphere of influence we are the ones who will release either God or the devil to have their way in our lives.

Therefore it is not OK to take instruction from our circumstances. John 8:44 tells us that the devil is a liar and the father of lies. Whatever he tells us by way of discouragement, we know that the opposite is true.

Let’s not give in to discouragement. Let’s set our determination to pray and expect as God has commanded us. This is our season; this is our year. As it is in Heaven so it is in my life!
