If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small…
One of the things that’s sure in life is that every human being has and will have a day of trouble. The storms of life come to all of us. Notice that one of the possible outcomes of adversity is you fainting or giving up on your dream, purpose or vision. Most importantly, however, is the revelation that fainting is a function of how much strength you have.
With that in mind, if we can establish the real source of power and strength we can embark on securing our strength and ensuring against fainting. The scripture says that that power resides in a person’s spirit because that is what sustains him in his infirmities. We know that the spirit of a man is nourished and fed by God’s Word, by communion or intimacy with God and by speaking faith filled words.
Let me encourage you today to focus on exercising your spirit using these three components, and when you are strengthened in your inner man you will be able to take anything that the enemy can dish out. I speak fresh strength and vigour into you today in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
