Numbers 23: 18-19
God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
Whatever the challenge, however difficult the circumstances, despite the convincing natural evidence, make sure you don’t dishonor the Word by acting like God is going to fail you. God is not a man that He should lie…
When the fear of losing something is greater than your faith to keep it, its only a matter of time you will unquestionably lose whatever it is. You have to keep going back to the Word that inspires your hope and causes faith to rise up in you – the Word that God quickened to you under the anointing when He first spoke to you about the thing you are dreaming about.
The challenge to the faith walk is the time when possibilities seem closed to you, and your service of God seems to have led you to a dead end.
The natural mind is under pressure, easily concluding that prioritizing God’s Kingdom does not promote or secure personal interests. Actually the opposite is true. It’s a realm where you increase by decreasing; you become strong through weakness and powerful by losing control and yielding completely.
Many people don’t know about this realm where things are exactly the opposite of what they naturally seem. The only key to this path is trust.
If you only yield to the path you understand, you will never know the surprises hidden in the full spectrum of God’s infinite wisdom and plan. I have come to trust the interruptions of life, the unplanned and uncontrollable happenings in life because God uses them to shift and lift me.
Nothing satisfies like being in the will of God.
The key to finding yourself in it is yielding – “Anything God wants for me is OK with me.” It is simply a privilege to be on His team when He could have chosen somebody else.
And on top of that, God will never mismanage your life. Trust is the hardest and yet surest place to be where God and you are concerned.
My prayer for you today is that God would rise to your defence; the storm would cease; the famine would end; the fear would no longer drive decisions; and closed doors and gates would supernaturally open. Amen!
