Psalm 126

When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion,
We were like those who dream

In the midst of your captivity and affliction, it is your ability to dream of something better that will start to turn your situation around.

Don’t continue to entertain your pain and relive your mistakes. Those things are done and over. If you focus on them, your past will shackle you to the death cycle; it will never propel you into your future.

There are times when we can feel so broken down that it doesn’t seem that we will make it. Hope for the future seems like the last thing we can muster. But the truth is that if God ever did it before, He will do it again in your life.

Don’t let your life stagnate; ten years can go by and you have entertained no new ideas. You have spent the time just talking to your friends about all the things that went wrong.

It’s time to forget the past and go higher. There is a reason why He preserved you and healed you and directed your life thus far. Don’t let your dream die! It is your way out and your way up.

Because of your dream, He will cancel the pain of your past. You won’t even remember the shame of your youth.

If you don’t dream you will still be crying about who lied about you, and what you got wrong and what failed, but if your future becomes so good, you won’t even remember who betrayed you or what didn’t work out.

There is a reason why God has kept His hand upon your life, why He chose you from among your family members and showed you such favor. There is a reason why He came after you and opened a door for you.

What will it be like when your life is like a dream?

If you will dream it, God will have to respond. He will have to anoint you, and make you smarter than you could be by yourself; raise up people to help you, and put you in the right place at the right time to connect you to your destiny. Your dream will compel God to give you the wisdom to walk through your open door.

You were not born to be like everyone else. You are a barrier breaker!
